Quick and easy Chicken Teriyaki recipe! Delicious and will quickly become a family favourite! Perfect for busy weeknight dinners!
Recipe type: Main Dish
Cuisine: Asian
Serves: 4
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ⅓ cup orange juice (we used the juice of 1 orange)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (we used local Manitoulin raw honey)
  • 1½ tablespoons sesame oil
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1½ teaspoons freshly grated ginger
  • vegetable oil to cook the chicken
  • spring onion/scallions, sliced thinly
  • sesame seeds, toasted
  1. In a bowl, add freshly squeezed orange juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and freshly grated ginger. Mix well.
  2. Cut chicken into bite sized pieces. Add chicken to marinade. ** For best results, you can let marinate for 30 minutes if you wish.
  3. In a pan on medium heat, add cooking oil and cook chicken (without the marinade). When chicken is cooked, add the sauce/marinade and cook for 5 more minutes.
  4. Serve over a bed of steamed rice and garnish with thinly sliced green onion and toasted sesame seeds. Enjoy!
