Disclosure – This Canadian Beef Kids’ Online Summer Cooking Camp post is written in partnership with Canadian Beef. All thoughts and opinions expressed on this blog are my own.
Little One has been my little sous chef ever since she was a toddler. Now that she’s 11 years old, she has decided that she wants to give Mama a break and make supper several times a week. Okay, I haven’t really had to cook during this pandemic, because my kid has taken initiative to cook for the family.
🌮
With school out, she’s been making her own breakfast, lunch, and supper for the family. She’s been surprising us with her abilities in the kitchen! She even made us a steak dinner the other night.🥩
Some of her creations are super impressive, while others can be considered perhaps a bit too avant-garde even for me!

If you’re looking for something to add to your kids’ weekly calendar, Canadian Beef is having their Let’s Make Lunch Kids’ Summer Cooking Camp on their Facebook channel every Tuesday at noon from July 7th to August 25th.
Lessons include:
– recipe
– shopping list
– pre-class How-To video
Children will learn how to cook on their own or with little parental help. Ideal for kids ages 10+, however younger kids can follow along with the help of older siblings or a guardian/parent.
Guess what? Tomorrow, they’re making pizza!
