It’s August already and that means school is just around the corner. I can hardly believe that Summer is halfway done. I feel as though I just blinked and Summer break has flown by. You know what August means, right? Back to school is on its way and time for school supplies and back to school outfits!
Little One is a stylish kid. She is very particular when it comes to back to school outfits. She wants fashion and ruggedness all in one. She’s a very active child, so her clothing has to look pretty, yet withstand all the wear and tear from her playing.
We live in “the North” (aka: Northern Ontario) and we support our local shops on the Island as much as we can. For clothing though, I have a very petite child who is hard to shop for. It’s difficult to find clothing that fits right. A few years ago, I found that Giant Tiger carries children’s clothing that are good quality and perfect for kids to play in…and the clothing is affordable.
Giant Tiger has you Covered for Back to School Outfits
Giant Tiger prides itself on providing quality items at a great value for the whole family. The new kids wear brands offers kids the stylish clothes they want at a price parents can appreciate. I spotted the new lines of kids’ clothing just the other day. Giant Tiger’s new kids wear brands offer great value for kids of all ages. They are not only durable, they are also stylish and at a price that won’t stretch your wallet.
When I was at the #LetsGORama event this past week, I had a chance to learn a bit about the new kids’ brands Giant Tiger is carrying. When I saw the Bella & Birdie items, I knew my daughter would love the apparel.
I’m wondering if I’m going to have to change Little One’s nickname to something else soon. She’s seven…going on seventeen, it seems. She loves the Bella & Birdie fashions! She told me it makes her feel like a teenager! What?!? Slow down, kid! I want to keep you little for a bit longer!
Little One says she loves the stylish clothing and the fact that they are comfortable and durable makes me happy to buy them for her. The bright colours, fun designs and add on accessories are perfect for Little One’s personality.
The jeggings and tops are adorable and so fun. She told me her one of her BFFs has this top. She was so excited! The price was so affordable that we picked up a top like this and one in coral for her twin cousins as well! Back to school is going to be so much fun!
For today’s active and adventurous kids! This brand is made for running, jumping, playing, and is durable, stylish and affordable. Monkey Bars has items for Girls/Boys 2T – 6X. Though Little One fits into size 7 (Bella & Birdie fits sizes 7-14), she also fits into smaller sizes because she is so petite. The Monkey Bars owl top fits perfectly, but the Bella & Birdie jeggings is a bit loose on her still. At the rate she’s growing, she’ll be fitting in them perfectly soon though!
Hubby picked the owl shirt and jeggings for Little One. She thinks it’s a hoot! Sorry, pun wasn’t really intended.
Hubby also picked this outfit out for her and she loves it! Hmph! There are times I question Hubby’s taste in clothing, but he fared pretty well when it came to picking some outfits for Little One!
She calls this her “What does the fox say?” dress. Casual, fun, and great to run around in, this is one of her favourite items. I really love kids’ clothing that kids can PLAY in!
I also noticed the Survival Gear line of clothing for boys while I was at Giant Tiger. The clothing items are very versatile, durable, and meant for rugged, active kids! I had to pick something up for my awesome nephew!
I really like that the new kid’s lines were developed with the day-to- day in mind. From school to practices and weekend fun, the new Giant Tiger kids’ wear brands have it covered.
Giant Tiger’s new kids wear brands were developed with both kids’ and parents’ needs in mind. They are durable and affordable, which makes mom and dad happy. The clothes are cool and on-trend keeping the kids smiling. I have to tell you that Little One is now seven (eight in November), and is very particular with her clothing. She has a wacky sense of style, and won’t let me pick out her outfits anymore. With Bella & Birdie, and Monkey Bars though, we were both very happy with the outfits!
Another thing I really like is that at Giant Tiger, the number one priority is customer satisfaction. It’s understood that kids can change their mind about their style. Kids go through unexpected growth spurts and Giant Tiger understands that kids play hard, work hard and sometimes their clothes can’t keep up. They’ve created the “Happiness Guarantee.” If your kid has outgrown, outlasted or simply changed their mind, return the item, at any time, with receipt, for a full refund.
I actually tested out the Happiness Guarantee. I bought Little One a pair of running shoes that were size 12, but didn’t realize she is size 13 already. Exchanging the shoes was no problem at all!
If you’re looking for back to school outfits that your kids will love (and that are stylish and durable), and that won’t break the bank, head on over to your local Giant Tiger.
I still cannot believe we’ve only got a few weeks left until it’s back to school time! At least we’re done with shopping for back to school outfits! Now it’s time to savour what remains of this glorious Summer we’ve been having!
