One of the questions I am often asked is “Where to stay on Manitoulin Island for tent and trailer vacations?”
Manitoulin Island is a treasure to behold. Crystal blue (almost turquoise) water and natural habitat with indigenous flora and fauna make the Island a special place. Tucked away and far from the hustle and bustle of busy city life, it’s a great place to come for some rest and relaxation, and it’s a great place to explore! Beaches, farmers’ markets, hiking trails, art galleries, and waterfalls are all just a snippet of what awaits visitors on the Island.
For accommodations, there are plenty of inns, motels, B & Bs, and tent and trailer parks to choose from.

We are planning a day trip to Manitoulin this summer. We are staying in Tolbermory and visiting just for the day. What are some must see or need to dos while we are there. I would appreciate any input tremendously. It will be my husband and I with our 3 kids age 2-7. Thanks :).
It sounds like Manitoulin would be a great place to visit in an RV. It’s good to know there are some nice places to park it, lol.
Manitoulin Island looks beautiful. I would definitely love to see it. I think I need to put this on my list of places I want to see.
Thanks for sharing this list! We went camping when we visited there, but will check out these options the next time!
