I remember being a kid and every year my parents would talk about the Princess Margaret Lottery. “Wouldn’t it be nice to win the lottery?” and “What would we do if we won the grand prize?” were common questions. I also remember swooning over the incredibly generous prizes.
I always wondered what the chances were of winning, but in the end, I realized it doesn’t really matter. What matters is that this is for a good cause.
As a kid, I knew that Princess Margaret Cancer Centre was always doing extensive research and trying to find a cure for cancer. What I didn’t know was that one day, we’d have a personal connection with Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
Though we’ve always supported the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, recently we’ve been given even more reasons to offer our support.
