I have a big birthday coming up this year. Though I realize that “you’re only as young as you feel” (and as old as you act), and that “age is just a number”, I have to admit that I’ve recently started feeling not as limber than I once was! I also noticed that I used to thrive on next to no sleep, but now sleep is something I very much cherish in order for me to function like a normal human being the next morning!
On a recent camping trip, I discovered that my back just doesn’t like sleeping on hard ground and that my neck needs good pillows for neck support. Gardening for three hours straight (even when bending and lifting properly) leaves me with back pain.
Sure, pain is an inevitable part of life. However, unlike other health conditions that can often be ignored, pain tends to be more persistent. It can affect not only a person’s activities but their moods and ability to enjoy life as well.
Over the years, I’ve seen that more and more, pain sufferers are searching for solutions to their pain that are natural yet effective. As we strive to live healthier lives through actions such as adopting better eating habits, we also tend to look for pain relief that is made with natural ingredients that we can trust and feel good about using for our bodies.
Did you know?
Lakota offers pain relief products that are among the most effective available in the world. Using quality ingredients sourced from around the world including capsaicin, devil’s claw root, and white willow bark, Lakota products are rooted in traditional medicine. They offer an alternative to pharmaceuticals for those suffering from joint pain, swelling, inflammation, and stiffness caused by conditions like arthritis. Effective pain relief and increased mobility can make such a difference to a person’s quality of life, allowing them to continue or resume activities of daily living as well as favourite hobbies. Lakota offers natural pain relief.
I know for myself, if I’m doing a lot of heavy lifting or working hours on the garden, my back, shoulders and neck feel the pain. It seems if I have back pain, it takes me a day or two to resume to life as normal again. For my husband, being a farmer and having to do lots of strenuous activity during the day, it takes a toll on his body. Occasionally he will mention back pain, shoulder pain or leg pain.
