With the warmer weather and plenty of sunshine, birds chirping and flowers blooming, it is definitely beginning to really feel like Spring!
I’m not sure about you, but every Spring, I feel the need to open up all the windows, put away all our Winter items, and do some Spring cleaning. There’s always that feeling of needing to freshen things up! This doesn’t only apply to freshening up the house and making things light and airy for Spring, but it also applies to myself.
Pampering myself and getting Spring-ready is not something I plan on every Spring. It just sort of happens. I usually visit my hairdresser and ask for something light, fun and refreshing. I also treat myself to a little shopping for a new Spring outfit and I get a pedicure so I can wear cute sandals in warmer weather.
Spring is about renewal.
A new wardrobe and a new look are the perfect pick-me-up as we transition from one season to the next.
Did you know…
This month, P&G is helping us get ready to enjoy the sunshine, featuring Award Winning P&G products to renew your look this May available at Shoppers Drug Mart.
From April 25th to May 22nd Canadians can get 10x the Shoppers Optimum Points** when buying any of the brands mentioned below:
To celebrate spring, P&G has sent me some Spring Renewal products:
- Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream– $38.99
- Gillette Venus Swirl Razor– $19.99
- Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo & Conditioner – $6.99
- Pantene Pro-V Triple Action Volume Maximum Hold Hair Mousse– $6.99
Though I don’t need it right now (since I shaved my head to raise funds for cancer research a few months ago), Pantene Pro-V Triple Action Maximum Hold Hair Mousse is a favourite of mine. Prior to shaving my head, my hair was very fine and thin. Pantene products always worked really well at making my hair feel and look more voluminous. When my hair grows back, I’ll be using my Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner again!
Another favourite for Spring? The Gillette Venus Swirl Razor! A good razor is good to have! I find the Venus Swirl Razor provides perfect contouring.
The Venus® Swirl™ is designed with our revolutionary FLEXIBALL™ and 5 individually adjusting Contour™ blades. It contours over curves for flawless skin, long-lasting smoothness and virtually no missed hairs.
With this being the season bare legs make an appearance, this is perfect for silky, smooth legs. Plus, in just a few short weeks (wishful thinking?), it will soon be swimming pool and beach time!
Last, but not least, there’s Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream. Olay products have a special place in my heart because Olay reminds me of my grandmother. Even just the light fragrance evokes memories of my beloved grandmother. She was a faithful user of Olay products and she looked stunning even in her final days.
Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream is fragrance-free and firms skin’s appearance in the areas most prone to sagging—even the jawline—with Olay’s highest-available concentration of amino-peptide complex.
There’s something to be said about aging gracefully, and I think that one can still age gracefully even with a little help. My grandmother is testament to that.
