What people neglected to remind me was that having a new puppy at home is like having a newborn baby. The early days of parenting bring about many sleepless nights, diaper changes, feedings, and being in constant zombie mom mode.
With a puppy, it’s not so different. When we first brought Cupcake home, we had to get up every two or three hours to let her outside so she could ‘void’. Being so young and so little, there have been the occasional accidents here and there. She’s pretty good and pretty much housebroken, but every now and then I manage to step in a little puddle.
Lampe Berger to the Rescue
I have am incredibly sensitive to scents. Any odour that is even the least bit offensive sends me in total gag mode. The one thing that saved me was our new Lampe Berger Paris home fragrance system.
Let me tell you that before we tried our Lampe Berger fragrance system, I was a bit apprehensive. I wasn’t worried that it wouldn’t do a great job, but I have a sensitivity to fragrances, perfumes, and scents. In a nutshell, fragrances and perfumes give me severe, debilitating migraines and make me nauseous. Yes, it’s true. It’s embarrassing, actually. I go into dry heaves and the gag reflex is so bad that I can’t even walk by department store perfume sections without being sick.
Interestingly enough, I had none of those reactions with Lampe Berger. The Lampe Berger So Neutral worked well at eliminating foul odours without giving me a migraine.
The puppy pee smell has been taken care of and so have any other odours that irritate me.
How do Lampe Berger home fragrance kits work?
I forgot to mention that every Thursday we have “fish night”. Living on an island, we are lucky to have fish freshly caught from our fresh water lakes. The house doesn’t smell of fish though! The Lampe Berger So Neutral takes care of that!

I have never heard of Lampe Berger, but omgosh… Looking at their site and their fragrances, where can I start?! And how to narrow this down to ONE other I would like to try? Well, that just simply isn’t possible…But for argument sake, I will say: Fresh Mint (sounds) divine!
