Baking at Christmastime has always been a tradition for us since Little One was a toddler. Time spent in the kitchen, learning how to cook is priceless. This is the stuff childhood memories are made of. Little One shares #wellwishes by baking for others (like people in our community, our Canada Post, Purolator and Muskoka Delivery people).
Another thing that has become a tradition for our family is by supporting the Children’s Miracle Network.
My wishes for the holidays
Each year, Hubby, Little One and I donate food, clothing, and toys to our local family resources drop off for families in need. We also donate to charities close to our hearts during the holidays (as well as year-round). This year, Little One and I have been “paying it forward” for random people behind us in line ups at coffee shops. I think it’s important to spread well wishes!
This holiday season, my wish for everyone is happiness and health for all. I asked Little One what her Well Wishes were for the holidays. She replied with, “For everyone to have love, happiness, and an Elsa and Anna castle (for her).”
What are your #WellWishes?
Some of you who have been reading this blog for the past few years know that Little One was born very early. She was born at 28 weeks, 4 days and weighed 980 g at birth. Though her start was a bit rough, she never required the kinds of surgery some babies do who are born so early. For a preemie, she went through life in the NICU pretty much unscathed. Still, we know many babies who were in the NICU with her whose experiences were different from Little One’s.
Children’s Miracle Network is very close to our hearts, as a few friends have received some miracles for their sick kids. Donating to Children’s Miracle Network is something my six year old has grown accustomed to. It’s become somewhat of a tradition.
Kraft #WellWishes supports Children’s Miracle Network, with $1 being donated per social media mention on the hashtag or per participating product purchased at Walmart (up to a maximum of $50,000). You’ll be able to see all of the holiday #WellWishes at www.walmart.ca/well-wishes.
Go ahead! Join the convo with @KraftCanada and @CMNCanada! Use the #WellWishes hashtag to share your special holiday message with children in hospital.

What a nice idea! This is such an important organization!
I, too, baked with my grandchildren when they were younger. We all have great memories and photos of those days.
We try to help people out all year if we can, and especially at Christmas. I sponsor a little boy in Central America and have done so for some years now. I know I am able to help one little child to have good food and an education and that is very important to me.
fabulous , we need to keep these miracles happening
I agree, Chandra! So true!!
