Homemade gifts: Thoughtful or Tacky?
I personally LOVE homemade gifts. I love giving and receiving them. My husband and I have come to a point in our lives where we have pretty much all we need. I do not need anything else to add to our house that can collect dust or just serve as an ornamental piece. Okay, maybe a completely finished basement with an extra bathroom downstairs would be great, but other than that, we have all we need.

Little One and I have been really busy with the DIY gifts this year. We’ve done everything from DIY foot soak in Wild Orange, Peppermint and Lavender essential oils to Christmas baking!

Of course, DIY gifts are always attractive if you spruce them up for the holidays!
The Ziploc Holiday Collection is a great way to gift your homemade creations. Whether you’ve made a hostess gift or something for your kids’ teachers or bus driver, make things festive with holiday-themed Ziploc containers. If you’re a recipient of some amazing Christmas cookies, store them in these containers!

The great thing is that with the Ziploc containers, you can re-use them for leftovers (doubtful there will be any leftover Christmas baking though).
Check out the complete Ziploc Holiday Collection here. Holiday freezer bags, storage bags, and containers are all so festive.

We made a variety of cookies last Christmas and passed them out in decorated mason jars! They were very well received!
I bought some of the Ziploc bags this year. Next year, I will look for the containers as well. So festive.
One of my sisters-in -law gives me baked goods at Christmas and I love her baking. She is an excellent cook and we enjoy her goodies.
I like to make fruitcakes for my adult children and my sisters. They all look forward to receiving them. Homemade gifts are the best.
Such cute ideas! Those Ziploc holiday containers are adorable! So festive. I like the bags too.
