It’s that time of the year again! School’s just around the corner and it’s time for back to school shopping. I only just got my back to school shopping done the other day. I was so busy that I never got around to it and ending up doing it all in one day. Not only did I have to get school supplies for Little One, but she needed an entire new wardrobe because she had a crazy growth spurt this Summer! All her pants are super short and her feet grew two sizes! What?!

Little One has a style of her own. She’s quite quirky and loves everything Hello Kitty, pink, frilly, tutu, sparkly, bling-y…You get the picture! She’s excited to be rockin’ the halls in GRADE 1 this year! She also wants to #RockTheHalls by being able to read chapter books! She’s five years old and has been reading her leveled readers every day and night. They’re just frequent use words and simple sentences, but she is adamant about being able to read a chapter book by the end of grade 1!
Another thing Little One is looking forward to totally surprised me. She’s excited about all the fundraisers and being involved in certain causes like Jump Rope for Heart, Terry Fox Run, Food Drives, etc. Back to school time is exciting and I love that our five year old is looking forward to being involved in events that “give back” and make a difference.
