I remember what it was like to be a teenager. It seemed like one morning, I woke up and everything changed. Looking back, I realize my body was changing gradually and hormones were changing as well.
I used to get a really greasy T-zone and once a month, I’d get a dreaded zit. It was always in the same spot! So obvious too! To this day, I still occasionally get a blemish in that very spot on my face (right below my right nostril)! My Little One often asks, “Mom, are you PMS-ing? You’ve got a zit under your nose and it’s really gross!” Ahhh! Five year old kids are so blunt brutal HONEST!
Thankfully, I didn’t have a bad case of acne as a teenager. The occasional zit and blackheads from the age of 14-16 were the only issues I had. I was pretty lucky to have never had any major skin issues. Back then, all my friends and I used OXY pads to cleanse our faces. I remember when I was a teen, pouring over teen magazines and watching TV commercials, OXY was “the” thing to use when cleaning your face.
Now, friends of mine have teens looking for ways to help with their acne.
I was introduced to OXY Emergency Acne Vanishing Treatement Wipes and thought I’d share with friends with teens. I received some OXY Emergency Acne Vanishing Treatment Wipes and let my friend and her teen try them.
The result?

After two weeks, my friend’s son’s skin cleared up considerably with the use of OXY Emergency Acne Vanishing Treatment Wipes. Having seen the results in person, I was impressed. I know we tell our kids that appearance is not the most important thing in the world, but seeing the self-confidence in my friend’s son is wonderful! If having clear skin helps improve self-confidence and helps teens feel better about themselves, then that’s a good thing!
Teen Tester’s feedback:
“I was surprised these actually worked. My zits aren’t as bad now. I’d definitely get my Mom to buy me more of these!”
I love the “I’d definitely get my Mom to buy me more of these” part!

If you would like to take a good deal from this paragraph
then you have to apply such techniques to your won blog.
always wash your face in the morning and before bed
I had bad acne as a teen- found just routinely cleaning and lots of cover up helped- oh and a spot of toothpaste to dry up zits- no idea where I heard it but my daughter does it now lol
I stuck to a routine morning and night of washing my face but never over scrubbing, I found that that if I over scrubbed I would break out :/
Wash your face every night.
Always wash every day and night.
Never pop a pimple! It’s better to wait it out than have an even more noticeable mark. Just thinking about an oozing pimple makes me go ‘Ewww, gross!’
Don’t pick and put some sort of ointment on.
My tips are to wash your face with an anti-acne cleanser, use a medicated toner and then apply a spot treatment to pimples. I have also found that dabbing a bit of a clay mask on pimples helps to dry them faster.
My 0nly tip is….don’t pop your pimples! You’ll scar!
keep your face clean, and drink plenty of water.
I just try to wash my face two or three times a day so that oils and dirty aren’t hanging around for too long
My tip is to stay away from greasy foods and wash your face.
My tip is to stay away from greasy foods.
Drinking lots of water helped!
My tip is to never pop and if you get really bad ‘angry’ red one, put some ice on it to relieve the redness and the pain.
Clean your face every day and moisturize it. Don’t over do it with too much products!
Wash your face before bed.
Wash the make up off my face every day before going to bed
Mine is to be careful/reflective of what you eat as some things for me really trigger a breakout (even though I’m over 40!)
Wash your face and drink lots of water.
My best tip is to stop touching your face. It was a hard habit to break but once I stopped unnecessarily touching my face, my skin cleared up a lot.
Don’t ruin your skin with sun over-exposure – wear sunscreen.
Clean your face before going to bed and drink lots of water during the day.
It is important to cleanse your skin twice daily and to not pick at your skin.
always wash your face morning and night and keep your hands off of your face ..Also do not pick as they leave holes in your skin .. At my age I should be way past this BUT I am not maybe its because I am young at heart 😉
i was told to keep face clean, drink lots of water and not eat certain foods which may cause breakouts. i believe i used an astrinent to keep the oily skin clearer.
It’s important to drink a lot of water regularly and to change your pillow case atleast once a week.
just to keep your face clean, and leave any zits alone – hands off!
I used products with tea tree oil to help with my breakouts. Still have to be careful what I use on my face. I figured in my 30s I would be past breakouts, but I’m so wrong.
remember to always wash with a good cleanser every moring and night.
When I was a teen I was told to put a dab of toothpaste on my zits to dry them out! LMAO! I don’t know if it’s an old wive’s tale. Proper diet, sleep, exercise and lots of water seem to help.
