Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things!
Every year during the holidays, we watch The Sound of Music. I don’t know why, but it’s been a tradition for me. For some reason, The Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz are always on TV during the holidays. They’re not “Christmas” movies, but have become part of our Christmas traditions.
The lyrics in that Julie Andrews song always makes me feel festive, warm, and fuzzy.
I asked Little One what her favourite things are and she said:
- My Baby Belle doll
- A baby ducky wearing a princess dress
- A baby bird still in its egg
- A Girl Guide cookie
- My bunnies
Oh, little ones are adorable. My girl also said she loves her necklaces. Yes, the girl loves her bling. Anything sparkly or pink and she’s all over it.
She also loves the idea of sweets but does not like eating sweet things. I know. Shocking, right? We spent an evening making edible art with friends, and she was so happy to create, but just left her treat! She said, “Ummm…I don’t really like eating sweet things.”
Lucky for us, KanDi Jewelry is 100% sweetness without the cavities!
A while ago, Little One and I fell in love with KanDi Jewelry’s Gummy Bear Earrings!
Though Little One and I are quite partial to the Gummy Bear jewelry, we excited to see that KanDi Jewelry has items to get everyone feeling festive! The adorable Gingerbread Cookie necklace makes a great stocking stuffer.
If you peruse their website, you’ll see all the ‘sweet’ items they have available. They’ve got earrings, necklaces, bracelets…in a variety of colours and styles. There’s also FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $20!
