Most of us who rely on our smartphones get a little antsy when we see our battery go into the red. For me, living in the countryside, I always make sure my phone is fully charged. There may be the off chance I get stuck on the highway in the middle of nowhere or perhaps my vehicle may end up in a ditch on an icy Winter day (both have been known to happen). Both times I was fortunate enough to have a bit of battery power left on my phone. Thank goodness, because I was able to call my husband and the tow truck company!
Driving with Little One, I make sure to always have a full tank of gas, emergency supplies in the trunk and a fully charged smartphone.
I’m sure those affected by the recent ice storm will agree that having their cell phones operating was a blessing. Having a backup battery or an emergency battery pack is a smart thing to have in case of emergencies.
Not too long ago, Lisa from @Those2Girls introduced me to the Lifesaver II by Mio. The first thing I noticed about the Lifesaver II emergency battery pack was how compact it is. Another great thing is that it fully charges a smartphone in less than 1hr.
I love that the Lifesaver II by Mio is lightweight, portable and convenient. To see how it works, watch the video here. Check out Lisa’s review over here. She’s giving away a Lifesaver II Emergency Battery Pack on her blog!
I know Christmas just passed, but this would be a great stocking stuffer! Actually, the Lifesaver II would be great to give for any occasion. Make sure loved ones always have a charged phone battery! That way everyone has some peace of mind.

I have so many of these portable chargers, which have saved my phone so many times!
Oh, I like this one, I got a different model at Christmas… gotta have a backup!

I have a couple of back up battery packs, but none are slim and sleek as this one – I think I just might have to give this a try. Thanks for introducing me 🙂
That is too serendipitous. I gave Paula a battery for her iPhone because it always loses juice when we are at a conference… I love the look of this one. Heading over to enter the contest. Thanks Christine!
This is a great little charger… i got one in black. Super handy!
I could use some extra battery power now that I am commuting back and forth to work on the GO Train again
