You may laugh, but every year I go through the same agony over which Christmas cards to send out to family and friends.
One thing is for sure – I always make sure we send family photo cards. I love the idea of showing our loved ones how much Little One has grown every year. I also feel it’s far more personal. I enjoy being on the receiving end and have a collection of family photos from friends and family members on our “Wall of Fame” (also known as our fridge door).
Our photographers at PhotoCaptiva always do a fabulous job with our annual family portraits for our Christmas cards. It’s the deciding which design for our cards that always gets me stumped. I know, there are far worse problems in the world.
Minted has a wide variety of Holiday Photo Cards to choose from. There are so many beautiful designs and there’s the perfect design for everyone. So beautiful!
They’ve launched their 2013 holiday card collection, and is it ever impressive!
To be honest, I deliberated for a long time trying to decide which design to select for our family Holiday cards this year. I know. It’s a weird thing to agonize over. My love for stationery and all things paper and pretty stemmed way back when I was a girl and very much into the romantic view of the old school pen and paper correspondence. I loved sending and receiving letters! When I lived and worked in Japan for a few years, my love for stationery and paper was rekindled. The art of old school letter writing is not dead. I still prefer a handwritten letter to an e-mail. I love the physical, tangible letter, photo or card. It’s more personal — which is why sending the perfect Christmas card to our loved ones is so important to me.
The neat thing about Minted is that we (followers, readers, voters, customers) vote on which designs they sell. How cool is that? I also love how clean and easy to navigate the website is. Really easy on the eyes!
Stunning Holiday cards
I’ve had my eye on these Minted designs. With such beautiful designs and fonts, it’s hard to pick!

What a great business idea, and christmas idea too.
I have read so many great things about this company! I think I will check them out for our cards this year!
Omgoodness! These just look amazing! I have to try this, this year. Such beautiful designs!
Love these cards! I also have a tough time choosing ours as well. We always do a picture of our twins in front of the Christmas tree. I will definitely check out Minted to print our cards this year – they look like they have lots of great options! The last one is my fav 🙂
These are great cards for the holidays! I do like the layout of all of them, but love the styles with one large photo.
Good call, Jenna! The ones with the one large photo are beautiful. Simple. Perfect.
Those cards are gorgeous! I love the third one the best. I haven’t sent a photo card in a few years. Since the oldest is in school I actually get good ol’ Christmas cards and throw in his school picture for family and close friends. This year we will now be able to add in our youngest’s pictures.
Brandy, I agree! The cards are gorgeous! 🙂 #3 is beautiful, isn’t it?
