When I mentioned to someone recently that I spotlight a different Manitoulin business every week, they were surprised.  “Have you run out of businesses to feature? Surely, there aren’t that many businesses on the Island.”

To be honest, I’ve got a long list of businesses waiting to be featured!  Surprisingly, I keep finding more and more business to spotlight!  We’ve got everything from the crafty, creative items to restaurants, B&Bs, cottages, shops, etc.  Manitoulin Island has a lot of small businesses that many people aren’t even aware of!

This week’s Manitoulin Spotlight is on C & C Lawn & Landscape.

To me, home should be a sanctuary — somewhere you go to relax and let the day’s woes and worries melt away.  Everyone needs a gorgeous, restful spot to just kick back and enjoy.  Picture it– Lush greenery, beautiful flowers, a trellis, maybe even a pond or waterfall if you’re lucky.  We are slowly making our way there.  In the Summer, we pretty much live outdoors and enjoy our patio very much. Meals on the patio amidst all the flowers really does make me feel relaxed.

Though we do a lot of outdoor entertaining and try to enjoy our meals on the patio for most of the Summer, our gardens aren’t as beautifully manicured as I wish they can be.

Before I had Little One, I seemed to have more time to keep up with my gardening.  Now with work, farm, kid, and everything else, I don’t have the time to devote to maintaining my gardens and flowers.  I just told Hubby that we may have to call Dave from C & C Lawn & Landscape for a little help!
