I‘ll be the first to admit that I always seem to have too much on my plate. I somehow always put myself in positions where I get “voluntold” to do things. I have issues with being able to say NO to people. I’m also the kind of person who sees things through to the end if I’ve given my word. As a result, I can often be found running around like a crazy person, trying to get everything done. If my head weren’t attached to the rest of me, I wouldn’t know where to find it!
I also traced Hubby, Little One, and myself (just for fun) and painted those shapes with chalkboard paint too. This way we can leave notes for each other. If you look carefully, you can see Hubby has his “Honey Do List” up and I’m using mine to write important phone numbers! There’s even a little spot for Little One to doodle and write on.
* Level of difficulty – Easy. Make sure your work area is well ventilated. If you can, paint the items you need painted outside. The fumes were pretty strong!

Sober Julie:
I also did the wardrobe in Little One’s room. We got an old wooden wardrobe from friends (it sort of looks like the one from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe). I decided to paint the panels so that Little One could draw and have fun with her friends.
Did you know Canada:
Ooooh! I love the idea of a whiteboard calendar!!!
Insane Mamacita:
No need to be crafty! It’s super easy 🙂 If you don’t want to use chalkboard paint, I’ve seen decals you can stick on your wall that are sort of like chalkboard material.
Country Mouse:
LOL! I don’t know. I’ve been told I need to slow down a bit though!
Just us Girls:
🙂 Little One LOVES the idea of having Mommy, Daddy, and Little One shapes that we can write notes and messages on!

Eric has been wanting to make a chalkboard wall for years. But now we’re renting so it’s trickier. He has a pretty cool plan for it though…on the list if other cool plans 🙂

Your chalkboard is amazing! I am super impressed. When do you find the time for everything you do?
Oh Awesome! I’ve been wanting to work with chalkboard paint for a while now. I just need to find a nice place in the house to put it and hopefully get my spare room turned into new office all together and I’ll definitely will be using some.
I love the idea of your cut outs, how freaking cute is that. My kiddos would love that!
